Another leak about the Samsung’s next flagship phone, the Galaxy S8, has us very worry.
The earliest rumors claimed Samsung would remove the home button and embed the fingerprint sensor underneath the screen, but the new leak suggests this won’t be the case.
As shown in the image below, the S8’s fingerprint sensor will be located to the left of the rear camera.
This rear-positioned fingerprint sensor aren’t something to freak out about, phone makers have put them on back already but the actually location of the sensor on the S8 isn’t a good position.
Most phones place the rear-positioned fingerprint sensors in the center and below the camera for a better finger reachability, but the S8 seems to place it much higher.
If the S8’s dimensions are similar to the S7 or S7 Edge, this will indeed make the fingerprint sensor much harder to reach. Not only that, but there’s a greater chance to touch the camera and smudge up the lens.
Maybe it wouldn’t be hard to reach for, but either way Samsung’s lovers are still waiting with excitement for the next flagship Android phone.
